His name is Jerry Quick, and he has been a lifelong resident of Baltimore, Maryland. His wife, Beth, a resident of Fort Washington, Maryland. is a kindergarten teacher at our school, Springsview Chrisitian Preschool, and has been with us since 2002. The Two were married in June 2004.

Recently, Jerry fell ill with what was thought to be the flu. He was scheduled to start receving health benefits the first of February, and was hoping to postpone a doctor's visit until then. Unfortuately, his condition worsened and he was admitted to the emergency room on January 13. The following Monday, Jerry was diagnosed with  Acute Mylonomia Leukemia.

Jerry is currently undergoing aggressvie chemotherapy at Georgetown Hospital with a family struggling to cover the costs. A group of us within out community have established a fund " The Jerry Quick Leukemia Fund,"  to help aide his family in paying living expenses and medical bills until he is able to return to work. This non-profit fund is throgh  Mercantil Southern Maryland Bank in Waldort, Maryland.
